Frank and Jozien Boevink, a heart-warming wedding.

It was the warmest day of summer; we were packed with an extra shirt or two, should the need for changing arise after standing in the scorching sun.  Along with us we took our usual gear, ending up in our four hands carrying all we could and then some, so nothing new there.
Upon arrival we were received by an excited and happy family, who had been anticipating this day. And then there was the bride, with a bridal glow and  the sparkle in the eye (cliché allowed). But how she did glow! And how she smiled, and how she laughed. The time she was getting redy allowed for some images that speak for themselves.
And then there was the groom, when he arrived it was noticeable he had been waiting for this day. The moment they saw each other for the first time as bride and groom was engulfed with surprise, admiration and smiles. Because smile they could!
It was no challenge to make a success out of this shoot, Frank and Jozien were easy going, had a sense of humor that made them laugh in understanding with each other, and considered each other the happiest people on the earth that day!
The warmest day of the year it was but it did nothing but enhance every moment of this wonderful day!
Take a look at the pictures.

Het mysterie van het Goudkoerier.

About 3 weeks ago I made part of a production crew which was tasked to record a film trailer for a brand-new book, the book is called "Het mysterie van de goudkoerier",  a really exciting story that I hope can be turned into a movie, let's hold out hope that it will be like that.
That day I got up at 5 am in order to get their early and get to know all the processes that are poured into a production of such a work.

Even tough it was a long day (we recorded as late as 1 am in the morning) I can surely say I enjoyed every bit of it, well not those times when we needed to move all the set in order to make a new shot, but hey!, it's awesome to see how those scenes are constructed by seasoned people in a matter of minutes, how the lights were put togheter giving different moods each time and how the whole team worked united to keep things rolling smoothly.

The team was filled with seasoned people who where a joy to work with. The trailer was directed by the make-it-happen director Frank van der Velde and the camera team was leaded by the always kind and seasoned Goof de Koning, even tough it was the first time I met them, I was impressed by their humbleness, experience, crazy ideas climbing on everithing they found and their hands-on approach. I would be honored to work with them again in the not so distant future.

The pictures are not organized in any specific order, I just threw them here for you to enjoy.

Take a look at the awesome final result and tell me if I'm not right!

This is a project we did with MCI Utrecht, the project consisted mainly on a photoshoot that was later used as a flyer design resource in order to
take a look at the whole procces trough this post.
Here are some of the pictures we took and the final outcome of the whole project

The whole family was shoot individually, they where a lot of fun to work with, really easy going,  Im already looking forward to next year´s session

This was one of the proposals I did, It wasn´t choose tough I kind of liked the outcome and mood the picture conveys.

After looking around for images of utrecht and skies, I finally bumped into what it was perfect to give that special twist to the poster,

This is the final outcome, I was glad with the results and they were seemingly too ¡
